Renewable Heat Incentive
The UK Government is pouring money into renewable incentives in an attempt to increase uptake. If you fit the following criteria then chances are you'll be able to benefit.
- You must be a homeowner (Leaseholds are not eligible)
- Spending more than £600pa on heating
- Using oil, LPG, electricity or coal for your central heating
- Living in a property less than 6000sqft in size (8 bedrooms)
- Not currently receiving income support or housing benefit
If you feel that you tick all the above boxes then the following could be available to you:
- A tax-free, index-linked RHI income of up to £11,700 (2017 data)
- Eradication of your heating related bills
- Fully managed and monitored heating system
- No more need for fuel deliveries (LPG & oil)

This system replaced a 15 year old oil boiler which was inefficient and expensive. As well as providing a consistent supply of comfortable heating and readily available hot water, the Nibe F2040 is expected to cut the property’s heating bill by more than £300 per year compared to the previous oil system.
